New West Side Animal Care Facility 2500 S. 27th Avenue

New West Side Animal Care Facility

Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) has received an approximately
$17 million loan from the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to replace its aging West Valley Animal Care Center, located at 35th Avenue and Durango in Phoenix. Since the current shelter was built, nearly forty years ago, MCACC's mission has evolved to include proactive adoption programs, spay-neuter services, and educational outreach, among other valuable services. The current shelter can no longer accommodate these important programs in the most efficient manner, and so a new facility, tailored to these needs, is vital.

For full details, please see our brochure and adoption center drawings.

Cat Galaxy is holding an auction to help raise funds to support the new cat adoption center. If you would like to learn more about how your donation of services or gift certificates can help fund the cat adoption center please visit Cat Galaxy today or call them at 480-980-8541.
